Climbing, holding and repeated load
Muscle and tendon injuries in aerial and pole
The ache that arrives a day after a heavy session and has started arriving after every one.
What it usually is
Tendons respond to load, and they respond slowly. Most of what I see here is a training load that climbed faster than the tissue could keep up with.
What an assessment looks at
What you have been doing, how quickly it changed, and what the tissue currently tolerates.
What you can usually keep doing
Usually a version of everything. Tendons rarely want rest, they want the right amount.
How long it usually takes
Longer than the other pages on this site, and I will be straight with you about that at the assessment. It is anything from a one-off drop in to a few weeks, depending on what you are working towards.
