And I train

I train across multiple aerial disciplines. I have done some flying trapeze, enough to understand what it asks of a body rather than enough to call myself good at it. I trained recreationally in gymnastics at Rowan Gymnastics Club in Cheltenham and now train at Wyre Forest, and I have trampolined with a university team, with GL1 in Gloucester and at Wyre Forest, socially rather than competitively.

Why this exists

Most physiotherapists understand bodies. Very few understand this one. I spent years explaining what a straddle invert was before I could explain what hurt, and it used half of every appointment I paid for.

That gap is the whole reason this practice exists. You should not have to teach your physio your sport before they can help you with it.

How I work

I assess, I explain what I think in language you can repeat to your coach, and I tell you what I am less sure about. You keep training wherever that is sensible. We work towards the skill you stopped at, not towards a general idea of being better.
